“परमेश्वरा, मी स्वतला तुझ्याकडे सुपूर्द करतो.”
“Unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul.”
2. आणि यापुढे या जगाच्या आदर्शाप्रमाणे आचरण करु नका, त्याऐवजी तुमच्या मनाच्या नवीनपणामुळे तुमचा बदल होऊ द्या. यासाठी की देवाची पूर्ण आणि त्याला आनंद देणारी उत्तम इच्छा काय आहे हे तुम्हांला कळावे व तिचा तुम्ही स्वीकार करावा.
9. तुमची प्रीति प्रामाणिक असावी. जे वाईट त्याचा द्वेष करा व बऱ्याला चिकटून राहा.
10. बंधूप्रेमाच्याबाबतीत एकमेकांशी ममतेने वागा, आदराच्या बाबतीत स्वत:पेक्षा इतरांचा बहुमान करा.
11. आस्थेविषयी आळशी होऊ नका. आत्म्यात उत्सुक असा. प्रभूची सेवा करा.
12. आपल्या घरात आनंदी राहा. संकटात सहनशील राहा. चिकाठीने प्रार्थना करा.
14. जे तुमचा छळ करतात त्यांना आशीर्वाद द्या, आशीर्वादच द्या. शाप देऊ नका.
21. वाइटाने जिंकले जाऊ नका तर चांगल्याने वाइटास जिंका.
2. Be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
9. Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.
10. Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;
11. Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;
12. Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;
14. Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.
21. Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

16 जर माणसाने कायद्याचे पालन केले तर तो स्वत,
16 He that keepeth the commandment keepeth his own soul;
8 परंतु परमेश्वराला आनंद देणारा एक माणूस पृथ्वीवर होता तो म्हणजे नोहा.
13 म्हणून देव नोहाला म्हणाला, मनुष्यांनी सर्व पृथ्वी संतापांने व हिंसेने भरुन टाकली आहे; म्हणून मी उत्पन्न केलेल्या सर्व प्राण्यांचा नाश करीन; त्यांचा पृथ्वी तलावरुन नायनाट करीन
14 तेव्हा आपणासाठी सायप्रस म्हणजे गोफेर
22 देवाने आज्ञा दिल्याप्रमाणे नोहाने सर्व काही केले.
8 Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.
13 And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.
14 Make thee an ark of gopher wood;
22 Thus did Noah; according to all that God commanded him, so did he.
10 मग सात दिवसानंतर पृथ्वीवर पाऊस पडण्यास व जलप्रलय येण्यास सुरवात झाली.
13 त्यही दिन नूह, उसकी पत्नी, छोराहरु शेम, हाम र येपेत अनि बुहारीहरु जहाज भित्र गए।
14 नोहाचे कुटुंब आणि पृथ्वीवरील सर्व सजीव प्राणी म्हणजे सर्व जातीची गुरेढोरे इतर पशू जमिनीवर सरपटणारे आणि आकाशात उडणारे पक्षी हे तारवात होते.
10 And it came to pass after seven days, that the waters of the flood were upon the earth.
13 In the selfsame day entered Noah, and Shem, and Ham, and Japheth, the sons of Noah, and Noah’s wife, and the three wives of his sons with them, into the ark;
14 They, and every beast after his kind, and all the cattle after their kind, and every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind, and every fowl after his kind, every bird of every sort.
1 पण देव नोहाला विसरला नाही; त्याने नोहाची व त्याच्या सोबत तारवात असलेल्या सर्व प्राण्यांची आठवण केली; देवाने पृथ्वीवर वारा वाहवला. आणि पाणी दिसेनासे होऊ लागले.
4 अनि सातौं महीनाको सत्रौं दिन अरारात पर्वतमा जहाज अडियो।
15 नंतर देव नोहाला म्हणाला,
16 तू, तुझी बायको, मुले व सुना यांना घेऊन आता तारवाच्या बाहेर नीघ.
18 तेव्हा नोहा आपले पुत्र, बायको व सुना यांना घेऊन तारवातून बाहेर निघाला.
20 त्यानंतर नोहाने परमेश्वराकरिता एक वेदी बांधली आणि देवाने अगोदर सांगितल्याप्रमाणे सर्व शुद्ध पक्षी व सर्व शुद्ध पशू यांतून काही अर्पणासाठी घेतले आणि त्याने देवासाठी देणगी म्हणून त्यांचे वेदीवर होमार्पण केले.
1 And God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that was with him in the ark: and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters asswaged;
4 And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat.
15 And God spake unto Noah, saying,
16 Go forth of the ark, thou, and thy wife, and thy sons, and thy sons’ wives with thee.
18 And Noah went forth, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons’ wives with him:
20 And Noah builded an altar unto the Lord;
1 देवाने नोहाला व त्याच्या मुलांना
8 मग देव नोहाला व त्याच्या मुलांना म्हणाला,
9 मी आता तुम्हाशी व तुमच्या मागे तुमच्या संततीशी एक करार करतो.
13 मी ढगात साप्तरंगी धनुष्य ठेवले आहे; ते सर्व पृथ्वी व माझ्यामध्ये केलेल्या कराराचा पुरावा म्हणून राहील.
16 आणि ते धनुष्य पाहून कराराची मला आठवण होईल मी पृथ्वीवरील प्रत्येक जिवंत प्राण्याशी चिरंतन काळासाठी केलेल्या कराराची मला आठवण होईल.
1 And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth.
8 And God spake unto Noah, and to his sons with him, saying,
9 And I, behold, I establish my covenant with you, and with your seed after you;
13 I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.
16 And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth.
1 पृथ्वी आणि तिच्यावरील सर्व काही परमेश्वराचे आहे. जग आणि जगातील सर्व लोक परमेश्वराचे आहेत.
2 परमेश्वराने पाण्यावर पृथ्वी निर्माण केली. ती त्याने नद्यांवर निर्माण केली.
3 परमेश्वराच्या डोंगरापर्यंत कोण जाऊ शकेल? परमेश्वराच्या पवित्र मंदिरात कोण उभा राहू शकतो?

6 ते चांगले लोक देवाचा मार्ग अवलंबतात. ते याकोबाच्या देवाकडे मदतीसाठी जातात.
9 वेशींनो, तुमची मस्तके उंच करा. प्राचीन दरवाजांनो, उघडा म्हणजे तो गौरवशाली राजा आत येईल.
10 तो गौरवशाली राजा कोण आहे? सर्वशक्तिमान परमेश्वरच तो राजा आहे तोच तो गौरवशाली राजा आहे.
1 The earth is the Lord’s, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.
2 For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods.
3 Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? or who shall stand in his holy place?
4 He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.
5 He shall receive the blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.
6 This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob.
9 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.
10 Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, he is the King of glory.

9 … ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
5 And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.

7 And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilæans?

13 Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine.
14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them,
15 For these are not drunken, as ye suppose,
16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;
17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh:
18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit;
19 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath;
21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,
11 Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.

As used in Christian Science, Soul is properly the synonym of Spirit, or God;

The divine Mind maintains all identities, from a blade of grass to a star, as distinct and eternal. The questions are: What are God's identities? What is Soul? Does life or soul exist in the thing formed?

When understanding changes the standpoints of life and intelligence from a material to a spiritual basis, we shall gain the reality of Life, the control of Soul over sense, and we shall perceive Christianity, or Truth, in its divine Principle. This must be the climax before harmonious and immortal man is obtained and his capabilities revealed. It is highly important — in view of the immense work to be accomplished before this recognition of divine Science can come — to turn our thoughts towards divine Principle, that finite belief may be prepared to relinquish its error.
Man's wisdom finds no satisfaction in sin, since God has sentenced sin to suffer.
The sharp experiences of belief in the supposititious life of matter, as well as our disappointments and ceaseless woes, turn us like tired children to the arms of divine Love. Then we begin to learn Life in divine Science. Without this process of weaning, "Canst thou by searching find out God?" It is easier to desire Truth than to rid one's self of error. Mortals may seek the understanding of Christian Science, but they will not be able to glean from Christian Science the facts of being without striving for them. This strife consists in the endeavor to forsake error of every kind and to possess no other consciousness but good.
Through the wholesome chastisements of Love, we are helped onward in the march towards righteousness, peace, and purity, which are the landmarks of Science. Beholding the infinite tasks of truth, we pause, — wait on God. Then we push onward, until boundless thought walks enraptured, and conception unconfined is winged to reach the divine glory.
In order to apprehend more, we must put into practice what we already know. We must recollect that Truth is demonstrable when understood, and that good is not understood until demonstrated. If "faithful over a few things," we shall be made rulers over many; but the one unused talent decays and is lost. When the sick or the sinning awake to realize their need of what they have not, they will be receptive of divine Science, which gravitates towards Soul and away from material sense, removes thought from the body, and elevates even mortal mind to the contemplation of something better than disease or sin. The true idea of God gives the true understanding of Life and Love, robs the grave of victory, takes away all sin and the delusion that there are other minds, and destroys mortality.
The effects of Christian Science are not so much seen as felt. It is the "still, small voice" of Truth uttering itself. We are either turning away from this utterance, or we are listening to it and going up higher.

The higher nature of man is not governed by the lower; if it were, the order of wisdom would be reversed. Our false views of life hide eternal harmony, and produce the ills of which we complain. Because mortals believe in material laws and reject the Science of Mind, this does not make materiality first and the superior law of Soul last. You would never think that flannel was better for warding off pulmonary disease than the controlling Mind, if you understood the Science of being.
In Science man is the offspring of Spirit. The beautiful, good, and pure constitute his ancestry. His origin is not, like that of mortals, in brute instinct, nor does he pass through material conditions prior to reaching intelligence. Spirit is his primitive and ultimate source of being; God is his Father, and Life is the law of his being.

Grace and Truth are potent beyond all other means and methods.
The lack of spiritual power in the limited demonstration of popular Christianity does not put to silence the labor of centuries. Spiritual, not corporeal, consciousness is needed. Man delivered from sin, disease, and death presents the true likeness or spiritual ideal.
