18 माझे लोक सुखी होतील. ते अखंड आनंदात राहतील का? मी जे निर्माण करीन त्यामुळे असे होईल. मी यरूशेमला आनंदाने भरून टाकीन आणि त्यांना सुखी करीन.
19 मग यरूशलेमबरोबर मलाही आनंद होईल. मी माझ्या लोकांबरोबर सुखी होईन. त्या नगरीत पुन्हा कधीही आक्रोश व दु:ख असणार नाही.
21 त्या नगरीत घर बांधणाऱ्याला त्या घरात राहायला मिळेल. आणि द्राक्षाचा मळा लावणाऱ्याला त्या मळ्यातील द्राक्षे खायला मिळतील.
22 एकाने घर बांधायचे व त्यात दुसऱ्याने राहायचे किंवा एकाने द्राक्ष मळा लावायचा व दुसऱ्याने त्या मळ्यातील द्राक्षे खायची असे तेथे पुन्हा कधीही होणार नाही. माझे लोक वृक्षांएवढे जगतील. मी निवडलेले लोक, त्यांनी स्वत: तयार केलेल्या गोष्टींचा, आनंद लुटतील.
23 स्त्रियांना बाळंतपणाचा त्रास कधीच होणार नाही. बाळंतपणात काय होईल ह्याची त्यांना भिती वाटणार नाही. परमेश्वर माझ्या सर्व लोकांना व त्यांच्या मुलांना आशीर्वाद देईल.
24 त्यांनी मागण्या आधीच त्यांना काय पाहिजे ते मला समजेल. आणि त्यांचे मागणे पुरे होण्याआधीच मी त्यांना मदत करीन.
18. Be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.
19. And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.
21. And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them.
22. They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree are the days of my people, and mine elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands.
23. They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they are the seed of the blessed of the Lord, and their offspring with them.
24. And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.
धडा उपदेश
1 परमेश्वरा, माझ्या स्वामी तुझे नाव पृथ्वीवरील नावात सर्वात चांगले आहे, थोर आहे. तुझ्या नावाने तुला स्वर्गात गौरव प्राप्तकरुन दिला आहे.
3 परमेश्वरा, तू तुझ्या हातांनी निर्माण केलेल्या आकाशाकडे मी बघतो तू केलेल्या चंद्र आणि ताऱ्यांकडे मी बघतो. आणि मला आश्चर्य वाटते.
4 लोक तुला इतके महत्वाचे का वाटतात? तू त्यांची आठवण तरी का ठेवतोस? लोकतुझ्यासाठी इतके महत्वाचे का आहेत? तू त्यांची दखल तरी का घेतोस?
5 परंतु लोक तुला महत्वाचे वाटतात. तू त्यांना जवळ जवळ देवच बनवलेस आणि तू लोकांना गौरवाचे आणि मानाचे मुकुट चढवितोस.
6 तू लोकांना तू निर्माण केलेल्या सर्व गोष्टींचे अधिपत्य दिलेस.
1 O Lord our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens.
3 When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;
4 What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?
5 For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.
6 Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:
26 मग देव बोलला, आपण आपल्या प्रतिरूपाचा आपल्या सारखा मनुष्य निर्माण करु; समुद्रातील मासे, आकाशातील पक्षी, सर्व वनपशू, मोठी जनावरे व जमिनीवर सरपटणारे सर्व लहान प्राणी यांच्यावर ते सत्ता चालवितील.
28 देवाने त्यांना आशीर्वाद दिला; देव त्यांना म्हणाला, फलद्रूप व्हा, बहुगुणित व्हा आणि पृथ्वी व्यापून टाका; ती आपल्या सत्तेखाली आणा; समुद्रातील मासे, आकाशातील पक्षी आणि पृथ्वीवर फिरणारा प्रत्येक सजीव प्राणी यांवर सत्ता चालवा.
31 आपण केलेले सर्वकाही फार चांगले आहे असे देवाने पाहिले.संध्याकाळ झाली व नंतर सकाळ झाली.
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it:
31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good.
6 पृथ्वीवरुन धुके वर जात असे व त्याने सर्व जमिनीवर पाणी शिपंडले व पसरले जात असे.
7 नंतर परमेश्वर देवाने जामिनीतील मातीचा मनुष्य घडवला व त्याच्या नाकपुड्यात जीवनाचा श्वास फुंकला आणि मनुष्य जीवधारी म्हणजे जीवंत प्राणी झाला.
8 मग परमेश्वर देवाने पूर्वेकडे एदेन नावाच्या जागेत एक बाग लावली आणि त्या बागेत आपण घडविलेल्या मनुष्याला ठेवले.
9 परमेश्वर देवाने सुदंर दिसणारी अन्नासाठी उत्तम अशी सर्व जातीची झाडे बागेमध्ये उगवली आणि बागेच्या मध्यभागी जीवनाचे झाड आणि बऱ्यावाईटाचे ज्ञान देणारे झाड अशी झाडे लावली.
16 परमेश्वराने मनुष्याला ही आज्ञा दिली; परमेश्वर म्हणाला, बागेतील कोणत्याही झाडाचे फळ तू खुशाल खाऊ शकतो.
17 परंतु बऱ्यावाईटाचे ज्ञान करुन देणाऱ्या झाडाचे फुळ तू खाऊ नको; जर त्या झाडाचे फळ तू खाशील तर तू नक्की मरशील.
6 But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.
7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
8 And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.
9 And out of the ground made the Lord God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
16 And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:
17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
1 परमेश्वर देवाने निर्माण केलेल्या सर्व वन्य प्राण्यांमध्ये सर्प हा अतिशय धूर्त आणि हुषार होता. त्याला स्त्रीची फसवणूक करायची होती. त्यावेळी सर्प त्या स्त्रीशी बोलला व तो तिला म्हणाला, स्त्रिये, बागेतल्या कोणत्याही झाडाचे फळ खाऊ नको असे देवाने तुला खरोखरच सांगितले आहे काय?
2 स्त्रीने सर्पाला उत्तर दिले, नाही. देवाने तसे म्हटले नाही बागेतल्या झाडांची फळे आम्ही खाऊ शकतो.
3 परंतु असे एक झाड आहे की ज्याचे फळ आम्ही खाता कामा नये देवाने आम्हाला सांगितले, ‘बागेच्या मधोमध असलेल्या झाडाचे फळ तुम्ही मुळीच खाऊ नका. त्या झाडाला स्पर्शही करु नका. नाहीतर तुम्ही मराल.
4 परंतु सर्प त्या स्त्रीला म्हणाला, तुम्ही खरोखर मरणार नाही.
5 कारण देवाला हे माहीत आहे की जर तुम्ही त्या झाडाचे फळ खाल तर बरे व वाईट काय आहे हे तुम्हांला समजेल आणि तुम्ही देवासारखे व्हाल.
6 स्त्रीने पाहिले की ते झाड दिसण्यात सुंदर, त्याचे फळ खाण्यास चांगले व शहाणपण देणारे आहे म्हणून तिने त्या झाडाचे फळ तोडून घेतले व खाल्ले. तिचा नवरा तिच्याबरोबर तेथे होता; तेव्हा तिने त्या फळातून त्याला थोडे दिले व त्याने ते खाल्ले.
7 तेव्हा त्या दोघांचे डोळे उघडले व आपण नग्न आहो असे त्यांस समजले; तेव्हा त्यांनी अंजिराची पाने शिवून आपासाठी काही वस्त्रे तयार केली व ती घातली.
9 तेव्हा परमेश्वराने आदामाला हाक मारुन म्हटले, “तू कोठे आहेस?
10 तो म्हणाला, बागेत मी तुझ्या चालण्याचा आवाज ऐकला व मला भीती वाटली कारण मी नग्न होतो आणि म्हणून मी लपलो.
11 परमेश्वर त्याला म्हणाला, तू नग्न आहेस हे तुला कोणी सांगितले? ज्या विशेष झाडाचे फळ तू खाऊ नकोस अशी मी तुला आज्ञा दिली होती त्या झाडाचे फळ तू खाल्लेस काय?
12 आदाम म्हणाला, तू ही स्त्री माझ्यासाठी मदतनीस म्हणून दिलीस. तिने त्या झाडाचे फळ मला दिले आणि म्हणून मी ते खाल्ले.
13 मग परमेश्वर त्या स्त्रीला म्हणाला, तू हे काय केलेस? ती स्त्री म्हणाली, सर्पाने मला भुरळ घालून फसविले व म्हणून मी ते फळ खाल्ले.
23 तेव्हा परमेश्वराने मनुष्याला ज्या जमिनीतून उत्पन्न केले होते तिची मशागत करण्यासाठी एदेन बागेतून बाहेर घालवून दिले.
24 परमेश्वर देवाने मनुष्याला एदेन बाग सोडण्याठी भाग पाडले. नंतर परमेश्वराने एदेन बागेची राखण करण्यासाठी बागेच्या पूर्वेकडे करुब देवदूतांना पहारा करण्यास ठेवले. तसेच तेथे जीवनाच्या झाडाकडे जाणाऱ्या मार्गचे रक्षण करण्यासाठी गरगर फिरणारी अरनीची एक तलवार ठेवली.
1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
7 And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.
9 And the Lord God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?
10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.
11 And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?
12 And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.
13 And the Lord God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat.
23 Therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.
24 So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.
5 देवाने म्हटलेला प्रत्येक शब्द परिपूर्ण असतो. जे लोक देवाकडे जातात त्यांच्यासाठी देव म्हणजे एक सुरक्षित जागा असते.
6 म्हणून देव ज्या गोष्टी सांगतो त्या बदलण्याचा प्रयत्न करु नका. तुम्ही जर तसे केलेत तर तो तुम्हाला शिक्षा करेल आणि तुम्ही खोटे बोलता हे सिध्द करेल.
5 Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.
6 Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.
1 देवा, माझ्यावर दया कर, तुझ्या अतिशय प्रेमळ दयाळूपणाने आणि तुझ्या कृपेने माझी पापे पुसून टाक.
2 देव माझे अपराधीपण खरवडून घालवून टाक. माझी पापे धुऊन टाक, मला पुन्हा स्वच्छ कर.
10 देवा माझ्यात पवित्र ह्दय निर्माण कर. माझा आत्मा पुन्हा बलशाली कर.
11 मला दूर लोटू नकोस आणि तुझा पवित्र आत्मा माझ्यातून काढून घेऊ नकोस.
12 मी तुझ्या मदतीमुळे आनंदी झालो, मला पुन्हा तुझा आनंद दे, माझा आत्मा सबळ कर आणि तुझ्या आज्ञा पाळणारा कर.
1 Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.
2 Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.
10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.
12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.
17 म्हणून मी हे म्हणतो व प्रभूच्या नावात सावध करतो: ज्याप्रमाणे विदेशी त्यांच्या मनाच्या व्यर्थतेप्रमाणे चालतात तसे चालू नका.

17 This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,
18 Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:
23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

God fashions all things, after His own likeness. Life is reflected in existence, Truth in truthfulness, God in goodness, which impart their own peace and permanence. Love, redolent with unselfishness, bathes all in beauty and light.… Man, made in His likeness, possesses and reflects God's dominion over all the earth. Man and woman as coexistent and eternal with God forever reflect, in glorified quality, the infinite Father-Mother God.

Man is not made to till the soil. His birthright is dominion, not subjection. He is lord of the belief in earth and heaven, — himself subordinate alone to his Maker.

The great mistake of mortals is to suppose that man, God's image and likeness, is both matter and Spirit, both good and evil.

Genesis ii. 6. But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.
The second chapter of Genesis contains a statement of this material view of God and the universe, a statement which is the exact opposite of scientific truth as before recorded.

The first record assigns all might and government to God, and endows man out of God's perfection and power. The second record chronicles man as mutable and mortal, — as having broken away from Deity and as revolving in an orbit of his own. Existence, separate from divinity, Science explains as impossible.
This second record unmistakably gives the history of error in its externalized forms, called life and intelligence in matter. It records pantheism, opposed to the supremacy of divine Spirit; but this state of things is declared to be temporary and this man to be mortal, — dust returning to dust.

The name Adam represents the false supposition that Life is not eternal, but has beginning and end; that the infinite enters the finite, that intelligence passes into non-intelligence, and that Soul dwells in material sense; that immortal Mind results in matter, and matter in mortal mind; that the one God and creator entered what He created, and then disappeared in the atheism of matter.

Evil still affirms itself to be mind, and declares that there is more than one intelligence or God. It says: "There shall be lords and gods many. I declare that God makes evil minds and evil spirits, and that I aid Him. Truth shall change sides and be unlike Spirit. I will put spirit into what I call matter, and matter shall seem to have life as much as God, Spirit, who is the only Life."
This error has proved itself to be error. Its life is found to be not Life, but only a transient, false sense of an existence which ends in death.
Man was not created from a material basis, nor bidden to obey material laws which Spirit never made; his province is in spiritual statutes, in the higher law of Mind.
Above error's awful din, blackness, and chaos, the voice of Truth still calls: "Adam, where art thou? Consciousness, where art thou? Art thou dwelling in the belief that mind is in matter, and that evil is mind, or art thou in the living faith that there is and can be but one God, and keeping His commandment?" Until the lesson is learned that God is the only Mind governing man, mortal belief will be afraid as it was in the beginning, and will hide from the demand, "Where art thou?" This awful demand, "Adam, where art thou?" is met by the admission from the head, heart, stomach, blood, nerves, etc.: "Lo, here I am, looking for happiness and life in the body, but finding only an illusion, a blending of false claims, false pleasure, pain, sin, sickness, and death."

Truth has but one reply to all error, — to sin, sickness, and death: "Dust [nothingness] thou art, and unto dust [nothingness] shalt thou return."

The false belief that spirit is now submerged in matter, at some future time to be emancipated from it, — this belief alone is mortal. Mortals must gravitate Godward, their affections and aims grow spiritual, — they must near the broader interpretations of being, and gain some proper sense of the infinite, — in order that sin and mortality may be put off.
This scientific sense of being, forsaking matter for Spirit, by no means suggests man's absorption into Deity and the loss of his identity, but confers upon man enlarged individuality, a wider sphere of thought and action, a more expansive love, a higher and more permanent peace.
