“And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.”

25 लोकांना येशू सरोवराच्या दुसऱ्या काठावर भेटला. लोक म्हणाले, गुरुजी, तुम्ही इकडे कधी आलात?
26 येशूने उत्तर दिले, तुम्ही माझा शोध का करता? माझे सामर्थ्य सिद्ध करणारे चमत्कार पाहिले म्हणून तुम्ही माझा शोध करता का? मी तुम्हांस खरे सांगतो, तुम्ही मला शोधता, कारण तुम्ही भाकरी खाल्या आणि तुमची तृप्ती झाली.
27 ऐहिक अन्न नाश पावते. म्हणून नाश पावणाऱ्या अन्नासाठी कष्ट करु नका. परंतु जे अन्न कायम टिकते आणि अनंतकाळचे जीवन देते, अशा अन्नासाठी तुम्ही कष्ट करा. मनुष्याचा पुत्र ते अन्न तुम्हांला देईल. देव जो पिता याने दाखवून दिले आहे की, तो मनुष्याच्या पुत्राबरोबर आहे.
28 लोकांनी येशूला विचारले, आम्ही कोणत्या गोष्टी कराव्यात अशी देवाची इच्छा आहे?
29 येशूने उत्तर दिले, तुम्ही जे काम करावे अशी देवाची इच्छा आहे, ते हेच की, देवाने ज्याला पाठविले, त्याच्यावर तुम्ही विश्वास ठेवावा.
35 मग येशू म्हणाला. मीच ती जीवनाची भाकर आहे. जो माझ्याकडे येतो त्याला कधीही भूक लागणार नाही. आणि जो माझ्यावर विश्वास ठेवतो त्याला कधीही तहान लागणार नाही.
25. And when they had found him on the other side of the sea, they said unto him, Rabbi, when camest thou hither?
26. Jesus answered them and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Ye seek me, not because ye saw the miracles, but because ye did eat of the loaves, and were filled.
27. Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.
28. Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?
29. Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.
35. And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.
धडा उपदेश
1 हेपृथ्वी, परमेश्वरासाठी गा.
2 परमेश्वराची सेवा करताना आनंदी राहा. परमेश्वरासमोर आनंदी गाणी घेऊन या.
3 परमेश्वरच देव आहे हे लक्षात घ्या. त्यानेच आपल्याला निर्माण केले. आपण त्याची माणसे आहोत. आपण त्याची मेंढरे आहोत.
4 त्याच्या शहरात धन्यवादाची गाणी घेऊन या. त्याच्या मंदिरात स्तुतिगीते घेऊन या. त्याला मान द्या. त्याच्या नावाचा जयजयकार करा.
5 परमेश्वर चांगला आहे. त्याचे प्रेम चिरंजीव आहे. आपण त्याच्यावर कायम विश्वास टाकू शकतो.
1 Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands.
2 Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing.
3 Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
5 For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

24 ... सोर प्रांताच्या आसपासच्या प्रदेशात गेला. तो एका घरात गेला व हे कोणाला कळू नये अशी त्याची इच्छा होती. परंतु तो त्याची उपस्थिती लपवू शकला नाही. एका स्त्रीने ऐकले की येशू तेथे आहे. तिच्या मुलीला अशुद्ध आत्मा लागलेला होता.
25 ती स्त्री आली व येशूच्या पाया पडली.
26 ती स्त्री ग्रीक होती व सिरीयातील फिनीशिया येथे जन्मली होती. तिने येशूला आपल्या मुलीतून भूत काढण्याची विनंती केली.
27 येशू तिला म्हणाला, प्रथम मुलांना तृप्त होऊ दे कारण मुलांची भाकरी घेऊन कुत्र्याला टाकणे योग्य नव्हे.
28 परंतु ती त्याला म्हणाली, प्रभु, कुत्रीसुद्धा मुलांच्या हातून मेजाखाली पडलेला चुरा खातात.
29 येशू त्या स्त्रीला म्हणाला, तुझ्या या उत्तरामुळे तू शांतीने घरी जा. तुझ्या मुलीतून भूत निघून गेले आहे.
30 मग ती घरी आली तिची मुलगी अंथरुणावर पडली आहे व तिच्यातून भूत निघून गेले आहे. असे तिने पाहिले.
31 येशू सोर भोवतलच्या प्रदेशातून परतला आणि सिदोनाहून दकापलिसच्या वाटेने गालील समुद्राकडे आला.
32 तेथे काही लोकांनी एका बहिऱ्या तोतऱ्या मनुष्याला येशूकडे आणले व आपण त्याच्यावर हात ठेवा अशी विनंति केली.
33 येशूने त्याला लोेकांपासून एका बाजूस घेऊन त्याच्या कानात आपली बोटे घातली. नंतर तो थुंकला आणि त्या माणसाच्या जिभेला स्पर्श केला.
34 त्याने स्वर्गाकडे पाहून मोठा उसासा टाकला व म्हणाला, एफ्फात्था म्हणजे मोकळा हो.
35 आणि त्याच क्षणी त्याचे कान मोकळे झाले. त्याला बोलता येऊ लागले. त्याने कोणाला सांगू नका अशी आज्ञा केली.
36 येशू नेहमी अशा गोष्टी न सांगण्याविषयी लोकांना सूचना देऊ लागला, पण लोक त्याविषयी अधिकाअधिक सांगत गेले.
37 ते लोक फारच आश्चर्यचकित झाले व म्हणाले, त्याने सर्व काही चांगले केले आहे. तो बहिऱ्यांना ऐकण्यास आणि मुक्यांना बोलावयास लावतो.
24 …went into the borders of Tyre and Sidon, and entered into an house, and would have no man know it: but he could not be hid.
25 For a certain woman, whose young daughter had an unclean spirit, heard of him, and came and fell at his feet:
26 The woman was a Greek, a Syrophenician by nation; and she besought him that he would cast forth the devil out of her daughter.
27 But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children’s bread, and to cast it unto the dogs.
28 And she answered and said unto him, Yes, Lord: yet the dogs under the table eat of the children’s crumbs.
29 And he said unto her, For this saying go thy way; the devil is gone out of thy daughter.
30 And when she was come to her house, she found the devil gone out, and her daughter laid upon the bed.
31 And again, departing from the coasts of Tyre and Sidon, he came unto the sea of Galilee, through the midst of the coasts of Decapolis.
32 And they bring unto him one that was deaf, and had an impediment in his speech; and they beseech him to put his hand upon him.
33 And he took him aside from the multitude, and put his fingers into his ears, and he spit, and touched his tongue;
34 And looking up to heaven, he sighed, and saith unto him, Ephphatha, that is, Be opened.
35 And straightway his ears were opened, and the string of his tongue was loosed, and he spake plain.
36 And he charged them that they should tell no man: but the more he charged them, so much the more a great deal they published it;
37 And were beyond measure astonished, saying, He hath done all things well: he maketh both the deaf to hear, and the dumb to speak.
7 मग आठवड्याच्या पहिल्या दिवशी म्हणजे रविवारी आम्ही सर्व भाकर मोडण्यासाठीएकत्र जमलो असताना, पौल त्यांच्याबरोबर बोलू लागला कारण दुसऱ्या दिवशी निघण्याचा त्याचा बेत होता. तो मध्यरात्रीपर्यंत बोलत राहीला.
8 वरच्यामजल्यावरील ज्या खोलीत आम्ही जमा झालो होतो तेथे पुष्कळ दिवे होते.
9 युतुख नावाचा एक तरुण खिडकीत बसला होता. पौल बोलत असताना त्याच्यावर झोपेचा इतका अंमल चढला की, तो तिसऱ्या मजल्यावरुन खाली पडला, जेव्हा त्याला उचलले, तेव्हा तो मेलेला आढळला.
10 पौल खाली गेला व त्याच्यावर ओणवा पडला आणि त्याला आपल्या हातांनी कवेत धरुन म्हणाला, चिंता करु नका! त्याच्यात अजून जीव आहे.
11 मग पौल वर गेला. त्यांने भाकर मोडली व ती खाल्ली. पहाट होईपर्यंत तो त्यांच्याशी बोलला, मग तो गेला.
12 त्या तरुणाला त्यांनी जिवंत असे घरी नेले, त्या सर्वांना फार समाधान झाले.
7 And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight.
8 And there were many lights in the upper chamber, where they were gathered together.
9 And there sat in a window a certain young man named Eutychus, being fallen into a deep sleep: and as Paul was long preaching, he sunk down with sleep, and fell down from the third loft, and was taken up dead.
10 And Paul went down, and fell on him, and embracing him said, Trouble not yourselves; for his life is in him.
11 When he therefore was come up again, and had broken bread, and eaten, and talked a long while, even till break of day, so he departed.
12 And they brought the young man alive, and were not a little comforted.
12 तर मग बंधूनो, आम्ही कर्जदार आहोत, देहाप्रमाणे जगण्यास देहाचे नव्हे.
13 कारण जर तुम्ही तुमच्या पापी देहस्वभावाप्रमाणे जीवन जगाल तर तुम्ही मरणार आहात, परंतु आत्म्याच्या करवी जर तुम्ही देहाची कर्मे ठार माराल तर तुम्ही जगाल.
14 कारण जितक्यांना देवाचा आत्मा चालवितो, तितके देवाची मुले आहेत.
15 पुन्हा भीति वाटू नये म्हणून तुम्हांला गुलामगिरीचा आत्मा मिळाला नाही, तर तुम्हांला दतकपणाचा आत्मा मिळाला आहे. त्याच्यायोगे आम्ही “अब्बा, बापा” अशी हाक मारतो.
16 तो आत्मा स्वत: आपल्याबरोबर दुजोरा देतो की, आपण देवाची मुले आहोत.
17 आपण जर देवाची मुले आहोत तर आम्ही वारसही आहोत आणि ख्रिस्ताबरोबर वारस आहोत. खरोखर आपण त्याच्याबरोबर दु:ख भोगतो यासाठी की, त्याच्याबरोबर आपणांस गौरवही मिळावे.
18 कारण भविष्यकाळात आपल्याला प्रगट करण्यात येणाऱ्या गौरवाच्या तुलनेने सध्याच्या काळातील दु:खे काहीच नाहीत असे मी मानतो.
19 कारण निर्माण केलेले जग पुत्राच्या प्रगट होण्याच्या काळाची वाट पाहत आहे.
20 निर्माण केलेले जग सर्व स्वाधीन होते ते इच्छेने नव्हे तर देवाने ते अधीन ठेवले होते म्हणून,
21 या आशेने की, निर्माण केलेले जग त्याच्या अशुद्धतेच्या गुलामगिरीतून मुक्त व्हावे, व देवाच्या मुलांचे वैभवी गौरव त्याने उपभोगावे.
22 कारण आपल्याला माहीत आहे की, आजपर्यंत, निर्माण केलेले संपूर्ण जग कण्हत,वेदना भोगीत आहे.

12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.
13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.
20 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,
21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.
22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.
23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.
24 For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?
25 But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.
1 पित्याने आपल्यावर जे महान प्रेम केले आहे त्याविषयी विचार करा. आम्हांला देवाची मुले म्हणण्यापर्यंत त्याने प्रेम केले!आणि आम्ही खरोखरच आहोत! या कारणामुळे जग आम्हाला ओळखत नाही, कारण त्यांनी ख्रिस्ताला ओळखले नाही.

1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
महान आध्यात्मिक सत्य बाहेर आणले पाहिजे की माणूस परिपूर्ण आणि अमर आहे, नाही.
The great spiritual fact must be brought out that man is, not shall be, perfect and immortal.
प्रत्येकाने ठरवायचा मुद्दा हा आहे की ते नश्वर मन आहे की अमर मन हे कारक आहे. आधिभौतिक विज्ञान आणि त्याच्या दैवी तत्वासाठी आपण पदार्थाचा आधार सोडला पाहिजे.
The point for each one to decide is, whether it is mortal mind or immortal Mind that is causative. We should forsake the basis of matter for metaphysical Science and its divine Principle.

The belief that pain and pleasure, life and death, holiness and unholiness, mingle in man, — that mortal, material man is the likeness of God and is himself a creator, — is a fatal error.
God, without the image and likeness of Himself, would be a nonentity, or Mind unexpressed. He would be without a witness or proof of His own nature. Spiritual man is the image or idea of God, an idea which cannot be lost nor separated from its divine Principle. When the evidence before the material senses yielded to spiritual sense, the apostle declared that nothing could alienate him from God, from the sweet sense and presence of Life and Truth.
It is ignorance and false belief, based on a material sense of things, which hide spiritual beauty and goodness. Understanding this, Paul said: "Neither death, nor life, ... nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God." This is the doctrine of Christian Science: that divine Love cannot be deprived of its manifestation, or object; that joy cannot be turned into sorrow, for sorrow is not the master of joy; that good can never produce evil; that matter can never produce mind nor life result in death. The perfect man — governed by God, his perfect Principle — is sinless and eternal.
Harmony is produced by its Principle, is controlled by it and abides with it. Divine Principle is the Life of man. Man's happiness is not, therefore, at the disposal of physical sense. Truth is not contaminated by error. Harmony in man is as beautiful as in music, and discord is unnatural, unreal.

People go into ecstasies over the sense of a corporeal Jehovah, though with scarcely a spark of love in their hearts; yet God is love, and without Love, God, immortality cannot appear. Mortals try to believe without understanding Truth; yet God is Truth. Mortals claim that death is inevitable; but man's eternal Principle is ever-present Life. Mortals believe in a finite personal God; while God is infinite Love, which must be unlimited.
प्रश्न. - माणूस म्हणजे काय?

Question. — What is man?
Answer. — Man is not matter; he is not made up of brain, blood, bones, and other material elements. The Scriptures inform us that man is made in the image and likeness of God. Matter is not that likeness. The likeness of Spirit cannot be so unlike Spirit. Man is spiritual and perfect; and because he is spiritual and perfect, he must be so understood in Christian Science. Man is idea, the image, of Love; he is not physique. He is the compound idea of God, including all right ideas; the generic term for all that reflects God's image and likeness; the conscious identity of being as found in Science, in which man is the reflection of God, or Mind, and therefore is eternal; that which has no separate mind from God; that which has not a single quality underived from Deity; that which possesses no life, intelligence, nor creative power of his own, but reflects spiritually all that belongs to his Maker.
And God said: "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth."
Man is incapable of sin, sickness, and death. The real man cannot depart from holiness, nor can God, by whom man is evolved, engender the capacity or freedom to sin. A mortal sinner is not God's man. Mortals are the counterfeits of immortals. They are the children of the wicked one, or the one evil, which declares that man begins in dust or as a material embryo. In divine Science, God and the real man are inseparable as divine Principle and idea.
Error, urged to its final limits, is self-destroyed. Error will cease to claim that soul is in body, that life and intelligence are in matter, and that this matter is man. God is the Principle of man, and man is the idea of God. Hence man is not mortal nor material. Mortals will disappear, and immortals, or the children of God, will appear as the only and eternal verities of man. Mortals are not fallen children of God. They never had a perfect state of being, which may subsequently be regained. They were, from the beginning of mortal history, "conceived in sin and brought forth in iniquity." Mortality is finally swallowed up in immortality. Sin, sickness, and death must disappear to give place to the facts which belong to immortal man.
Learn this, O mortal, and earnestly seek the spiritual status of man, which is outside of all material selfhood. Remember that the Scriptures say of mortal man: "As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth. For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more."
