“"आणि तुम्हांला अनंतकाळच्या जीवनात घेऊन जाणाऱ्या आपल्या प्रभु येशू ख्रिस्ताच्या कृपेची वाट पाहत, देवाच्या प्रीतीतस्वत: ला राखा."”
“Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.”
1 परमेश्वर माझा मेंढपाळ आहे, मला ज्याचीगरज आहे ते मला नेहमी मिळत राहील.
2 तो मला हिरव्या कुरणात झोपू देतो. तो मला संथ पाण्याजवळ नेतो.
3 तो त्याच्या नावाच्या भल्यासाठी माझ्या आत्म्याला नवी शक्ती देतो. तो खरोखरच चांगला आहे हे दाखवण्यासाठी तो मला, चांगुलपणाच्या मार्गाने नेतो.
4 मी जरी थडग्यासारख्याभयाण अंधकाराने भरलेल्या दरीतून गेलो तरी मला कसल्याही संकटाचे भय वाटणार नाही का? कारण परमेश्वरा, तू माझ्याबरोबर आहेस. तुझी काठी आणि आकडी माझे सांत्वन करतात.
5 परमेश्वरा, तू माझे ताट माझ्या शंत्रूसमोर त्यार केलेस तू माझ्या डोक्यावर तेल घातलेस माझा प्याला आता भरुन वाहू लागला आहे.
6 माझ्या उरलेल्या आयुष्यात चांगुलपणा आणि दया सदैव माझ्या बरोबर असतील. आणि मी परमेश्वराच्या मंदिरात अनंतकाळापर्यंत बसेन.
1. The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
4. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
धडा उपदेश
3 परमेश्वरच देव आहे हे लक्षात घ्या. त्यानेच आपल्याला निर्माण केले. आपण त्याची माणसे आहोत. आपण त्याची मेंढरे आहोत.
3 Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
16 खात्रीने नाही. तुम्हांला माहीत नाही काय की जेव्हा तुम्ही स्वत:ला आज्ञापालना करता एखाद्याच्या स्वाधीन करता तर ज्याची आज्ञा तुम्ही पाळता त्याचे गुलाम आहात. तुम्ही पापांत चालू शकता किंवा देवाची आज्ञा पाळू शकता. पापांमुळे आध्यात्मिक मरण येते. पण देवाची आज्ञा पाळल्याने तुम्हांला नीतिमत्व मिळते.
17 पूर्वी तुम्ही पापाचे गुलाम होता. पाप तुम्हांला काबूत ठेवीत होते. पण देवाचे उपकार मानू या की, ज्या गोष्टी तुम्हांला शिकविल्या गेल्या त्या तुम्ही पूर्णपणे पाळल्या.
18 तुम्हांला पापांपासून मुक्त केले गेले. आणि नीतिमत्वाचे गुलाम करण्यात आले.
19 तुमच्या शरीराच्या दुर्बलतेमुळे व लोकांना समजावे म्हणून मी उदाहरणाचा उपयोग करीत आहे. कारण जसे तुम्ही आपले अवयव अशुद्धतेच्या आणि परिणाम म्हणून गुलाम होण्यासाठी स्वैरतेच्या अधीन केले त्याच रीतीने आता आपल्या शरीराचे अवयव देवाच्या सेवेला नीतिमत्वाचे गुलाम व्हावे म्हणून अर्पण करा.

16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
17 But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.
18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.
19 I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.
20 For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.
21 What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.
22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
31 मनुष्याचा पुत्र जेव्हा त्याच्या स्वर्गीय गौरवाने आपल्या देवदूतांसह येईल तेव्हा तो त्याच्या गौरवी आसनावर बसेल.

38 आम्ही तुला प्रवासी म्हणून कधी पाहिले आणि तुझा पाहुणचार केला? किंवा आम्ही तुला केव्हा उघडे पाहिले व कपडे दिले?
39 आणि तू आजारी असताना आम्ही तुला कधी भेटायला आलो? किंवा तुरूंगात असताना कधी तुझ्या समाचारास आलो?
40 मग राजा त्यांना उत्तर देईल, मी तुम्हांला खरे सांगतो: येथे असलेल्या माझ्या बांधवातील अगदी लहानातील एकाला तुम्ही केले, तर ते तुम्ही मलाच केले.
41 मग राजा आपल्या डाव्या बाजूच्यांना म्हणेल, माझ्यापासून दूर जा, तुम्ही शापित आहात, अनंतकाळच्या अग्नीत जा. हा अग्नी सैतान व त्याच्या दूतांसाठी तयार केला आहे.
42 ही तुमची शिक्षा आहे कारण मी भुकेला होतो पण तुम्ही मला काही खायला दिले नाही, मी तहानेला होतो पण तुम्ही मला काही प्यावयास दिले नाही.
43 मी प्रवासी असता माझा पाहुणचार केला नाही. मी वस्त्रहीन होतो. पण तुम्ही मला कपडे दिले नाहीत. मी आजारी आणि तुरूंगात होतो पण तुम्ही माझी काळजी घेतली नाही.
44 मग ते लोक सुद्धा त्याला उत्तर देतील, प्रभु आम्ही कधी तुला उपाशी अगर तहानेले पाहिले किंवा प्रवासी म्हणून कधी पाहिले? किंवा वस्त्रहीन, आजारी किंवा तुरूंगात कधी पाहिले आणि तुला मदत केली नाही?
45 मग राजा त्यांना उत्तर देईल, मी तुम्हांला खरे सांगतो: माझ्या अनुयायतील लहानातील लहानाला काही करण्याचे जेव्हा तुम्ही नाकारले, तेव्हा तेव्हा ते तुम्ही मला करण्याचे नाकारले.

31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:
43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
9 पण जे श्रीमंत होऊ पाहतात ते मोहात आणि सापळ्यात व अति मूर्खपणाच्या आणि हानिकारक वासनांच्या आहारी जाऊन नाश पावतात.
10 कारण पैशाचे प्रेम हे सर्व वाईटाचे मूळ आहे. काही लोक त्याची इच्छा धरल्याने विश्वासापासून दूर गेले आहेत, त्यामुळे त्यांनी स्वत:लाच पुष्कळ दु:ख करून घेतले आहे.
11 पण देवाच्या माणासा, तू या गोष्टींपासून दूर राहा. न्याचीपणा, सुभक्ती, विश्वास आणि प्रेम, सहनशीलता, आणि लीनता यासाठी जोराचा प्रयत्न कर.

17 या युगातील श्रीमंतास आज्ञा कर की, गर्विष्ठ होऊ नका. पैसा जो चंचल आहे त्यावर त्यांनी आशा ठेवू नये, परंतु देव जो विपुलपणे उपभोगासाठी सर्व पुरवितो त्यावर आशा ठेवावी.
18 चांगले करण्याची त्यांना आज्ञा कर. चांगल्या कृत्यात धनवान आणि उदार असावे. व स्वत:जवळ जे आहे त्यात इतरांबरोबर सहभागी होण्याची इच्छा असावी.

9 …they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
11 But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
13 I give thee charge in the sight of God, who quickeneth all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession;
14 That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:
15 Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;
16 Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen.
17 Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;
18 That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate;
19 Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.
50 बंधूनो, मी तुम्हांला सांगतो, आपल्या मांस व रक्त असलेल्या जगिक शरीराला देवाच्या राज्यात वाटा मिळू शकत नाही. तसेव विनाशीपण अविनाशीपणाचा वारसा मिळवू शकत नाही.
51 पाहा! मी तुम्हांला एक रहस्यमय सत्य सांगत आहे. आपण सर्व मरणार नाही. आपण सर्व बदलून जाऊ.

50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

Man in Science is neither young nor old. He has neither birth nor death. He is not a beast, a vegetable, nor a migratory mind. He does not pass from matter to Mind, from the mortal to the immortal, from evil to good, or from good to evil. Such admissions cast us headlong into darkness and dogma. Even Shakespeare's poetry pictures age as infancy, as helplessness and decadence, instead of assigning to man the everlasting grandeur and immortality of development, power, and prestige.

One moment of divine consciousness, or the spiritual understanding of Life and Love, is a foretaste of eternity. This exalted view, obtained and retained when the Science of being is understood, would bridge over with life discerned spiritually the interval of death, and man would be in the full consciousness of his immortality and eternal harmony, where sin, sickness, and death are unknown.

Eternity is God's measurement of Soul-filled years.

The conceptions of mortal, erring thought must give way to the ideal of all that is perfect and eternal. Through many generations human beliefs will be attaining diviner conceptions, and the immortal and perfect model of God's creation will finally be seen as the only true conception of being.

A mortal sinner is not God's man. Mortals are the counterfeits of immortals. They are the children of the wicked one, or the one evil, which declares that man begins in dust or as a material embryo. In divine Science, God and the real man are inseparable as divine Principle and idea.

Mortals are not fallen children of God. They never had a perfect state of being, which may subsequently be regained. They were, from the beginning of mortal history, "conceived in sin and brought forth in iniquity."
Remember that the Scriptures say of mortal man: "As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth. For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more."
When speaking of God's children, not the children of men, Jesus said, "The kingdom of God is within you;" that is, Truth and Love reign in the real man, showing that man in God's image is unfallen and eternal.

If we array thought in mortal vestures, it must lose its immortal nature.
If we look to the body for pleasure, we find pain; for Life, we find death; for Truth, we find error; for Spirit, we find its opposite, matter. Now reverse this action. Look away from the body into Truth and Love, the Principle of all happiness, harmony, and immortality. Hold thought steadfastly to the enduring, the good, and the true, and you will bring these into your experience proportionably to their occupancy of your thoughts.

We walk in the footsteps of Truth and Love by following the example of our Master in the understanding of divine metaphysics. Christianity is the basis of true healing. Whatever holds human thought in line with unselfed love, receives directly the divine power.

…the body will reflect what governs it, whether it be Truth or error, understanding or belief, Spirit or matter. Therefore "acquaint now thyself with Him, and be at peace." Be watchful, sober, and vigilant. The way is straight and narrow, which leads to the understanding that God is the only Life. It is a warfare with the flesh, in which we must conquer sin, sickness, and death, either here or hereafter, — certainly before we can reach the goal of Spirit, or life in God.
Paul writes, "If Christ [Truth] be not risen, then is our preaching vain." That is, if the idea of the supremacy of Spirit, which is the true conception of being, come not to your thought, you cannot be benefited by what I say.
Jesus said substantially, "He that believeth in me shall not see death." That is, he who perceives the true idea of Life loses his belief in death. He who has the true idea of good loses all sense of evil, and by reason of this is being ushered into the undying realities of Spirit. Such a one abideth in Life, — life obtained not of the body incapable of supporting life, but of Truth, unfolding its own immortal idea. Jesus gave the true idea of being, which results in infinite blessings to mortals.

Man's privilege at this supreme moment is to prove the words of our Master: "If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death." To divest thought of false trusts and material evidences in order that the spiritual facts of being may appear, — this is the great attainment by means of which we shall sweep away the false and give place to the true. Thus we may establish in truth the temple, or body, "whose builder and maker is God."
We should consecrate existence, not "to the unknown God" whom we "ignorantly worship," but to the eternal builder, the everlasting Father, to the Life which mortal sense cannot impair nor mortal belief destroy. We must realize the ability of mental might to offset human misconceptions and to replace them with the life which is spiritual, not material.
The great spiritual fact must be brought out that man is, not shall be, perfect and immortal. We must hold forever the consciousness of existence, and sooner or later, through Christ and Christian Science, we must master sin and death. The evidence of man's immortality will become more apparent, as material beliefs are given up and the immortal facts of being are admitted.
