8 पृथ्वीवरील प्रत्येकाने परमेश्वराची भीती बाळगली पाहिजे आणि त्याला मान दिला पाहिजे या जगात राहणाऱ्या प्रत्येकाने त्याला भ्यायला पाहिजे.
9 का? देव फक्त आज्ञा करतो आणि त्याप्रमाणे गोष्टी घडतात. आणि त्याने जर थांब म्हटले तर ती गोष्ट थांबते.
18 परमेश्वर त्याच्या भक्तांवर नजर ठेवतो आणि त्यांची काळजी घेतो. जे लोक त्याची भक्ती करतात त्यांचे तो रक्षण करतो.

20. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:

11 माझा देवावर भरंवसा आहे म्हणून मला भीती वाटत नाही. लोक मला त्रास देऊ शकणार नाहीत.
12 देवा, मी तुला खास वचने दिली आहेत आणि मी ती वचने पाळणार आहे. मी तुला माझे धन्यवाद अर्पण करणार आहे.
13 का? कारण तू मला मृत्यूपासून वाचवलेस, तू मला पराभवापासून वाचवलेस म्हणून केवळ जिवंत असलेले लोकच जो प्रकाश पाहू शकतात अशा प्रकाशात मी त्याला अनुसरेन.
11 In God have I put my trust: I will not be afraid what man can do unto me.
12 Thy vows are upon me, O God: I will render praises unto thee.
13 For thou hast delivered my soul from death: wilt not thou deliver my feet from falling, that I may walk before God in the light of the living?

19 Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits,
20 He that is our God is the God of salvation; and unto God the Lord belong the issues from death.
14 मी त्यांना थडग्यापासून वाचवीन मी त्यांचा मृत्यूपासून बचाव करीन. मरणा, तुझी रोगराई कोठे आहे? थडग्या, तुझी शक्ती कोठे गेली? मला सूड घ्यायचा नाही.
14 I will ransom them from the power of the grave; I will redeem them from death: O death, I will be thy plagues; O grave, I will be thy destruction:
1 लाजर नावाचा एक मनुष्य आजारी होता. तो बेथानी गावात राहत होता. याच गावात मार्था आणि मरीया राहत होत्या.
4 पण येशूने हे ऐकून म्हटले, हा आजार मरणासाठी नव्हे तर देवाच्या गौरवासाठी आहे. याद्वारे देवाचे गौरव व्हावे यासाठी हा आजार आहे.
5 येशू मार्था, मरीया व लाजर यांच्यावर प्रीति करीत असे.
6 म्हणून तो आजारी आहे हे ऐकल्यावरही तो होता त्याच ठिकाणी दोन दिवस राहिला.
7 नंतर त्याने शिष्यांना म्हटले, आपण यहूदीयात परत जाऊ.
11 या गोष्टी बोलल्यानंतर तो त्यांना म्हणाला, आपला मित्र लाजर झोपी गेला आहे. पण मी त्याला झोपेतून जागे करावे तरीही जात आहे.
17 येशू आल्यावर त्याला समजले की, लाजराला चार दिवसांपूर्वीच कबरेत ठेवण्यात आले आहे.
20 जेव्हा मार्थाने ऐकले की, आपल्या घरी येशू येत आहे तेव्हा ती त्याला भेटायला बाहेर गेली, पण मरीया घरातच राहिली.
21 प्रभु मार्था येशूला म्हणाली, तू जर येथे असतास तर माझा भाऊ मेला नसता,
22 पण मला माहीत आहे की, तू जे मागशील ते देव तुला देईल.
23 येशू म्हणाला, तुझा भाऊ पुन्हा उठेल.
24 मार्था म्हणाली. मला माहीत आहे शेवटच्या दिवशी पुनरुत्थानाच्या वेळेस तो पुन्हा उठेल.
25 येशू तिला म्हणाला, मी पुनरुत्थान आणि जीवन आहे. जो माझ्यावर विश्वास ठेवतो तो मेला असेल तरी जगेल.
26 आणि जो कोणी जगतो आणि माझ्यावर विश्वास ठेवतो. तो कधीच मरणार नाही. तू यावर विश्वास ठेवतेस काय?
27 होय प्रभु. ती त्याला म्हणाली, तू ख्रिस्त आहेस असा मी विश्वास धरते. तू या जगात आलेला आहे देवाचा पुत्र आहेस.
32 मग जेथे येशू होता तेथे मरीया आल्यावर ती त्याला पाहून त्याच्या पाया पडली व त्याला म्हणाली, प्रभु, आपण येथे असता तर माझा भाऊ मेला नसता.
33 मग येशू तिला रडताना पाहून व तिच्याबरोबर असलेल्या यहूद्यांनाही रडताना पाहून आत्म्यात व्याकुळ झाला व हेलावून गेला.
34 तो म्हणाला, तुम्ही त्याला कोठे ठेवले आहे?” ते म्हणाले, प्रभु, या आणि पाहा.
35 येशू रडला.
36 तेव्हा यहूदी म्हणाले, पहा! त्याला तो किती आवडत होता.
38 मग येशू पुन्हा अंत:करणात विव्हळ झाला असता कबरेकडे आला. ती गुहा होती, आणि तिच्यावर दगड लोटला होता.
39 येशूने म्हटले, हा दगड काढा. मार्था म्हणाली, पण प्रभु, लाजर मरुन चार दिवस झाले आहेत, त्याला आता दुर्गंधी येत असेल. ती मृत लाजराची बहीण होती.
40 येशूने तिला म्हटले, जर तू विश्वास धरशील तर देवाचे गौरव पाहशील, असे मी तुला सांगितले नव्हते काय?
41 मग त्यांनी दगड बाजूला केला. तेव्हा येशू वर पाहून म्हणाला, पित्या, तू माझे ऐकले, म्हणून मी तुझे उपकार मानतो.
42 आणि तू नेहमीच माझे ऐकतोस हे मला माहीत आहे, पण जो लोकसमुदाय आजूबाजूला उभा आहे त्यांच्यासाठी मी हे बोललो. यासाठी की तू मला पाठविले आहेस यावर त्यांनी विश्वास ठवावा.
43 असे बोलल्यावर त्याने मोठ्याने हाक मारली, लजरा, बाहेर ये.
44 मग जो मेला होता तो लाजर जिवंत होऊन बाहेर आला. त्याचे हात पाय वस्त्रांनी बांधले होते व तोंड रुमालाने झाकले होते. येशू लोकांना म्हणाला. त्याला मोकळे करा आणि जाऊ द्या.
1 Now a certain man was sick, named Lazarus, of Bethany, the town of Mary and her sister Martha.
4 When Jesus heard that, he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby.
5 Now Jesus loved Martha, and her sister, and Lazarus.
6 When he had heard therefore that he was sick, he abode two days still in the same place where he was.
7 Then after that saith he to his disciples, Let us go into Judæa again.
11 Our friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep.
17 Then when Jesus came, he found that he had lain in the grave four days already.
20 Then Martha, as soon as she heard that Jesus was coming, went and met him: but Mary sat still in the house.
21 Then said Martha unto Jesus, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died.
22 But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it thee.
23 Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again.
24 Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.
25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?
27 She saith unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world.
32 Then when Mary was come where Jesus was, and saw him, she fell down at his feet, saying unto him, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died.
33 When Jesus therefore saw her weeping, and the Jews also weeping which came with her, he groaned in the spirit, and was troubled,
34 And said, Where have ye laid him? They said unto him, Lord, come and see.
35 Jesus wept.
36 Then said the Jews, Behold how he loved him!
38 Jesus therefore again groaning in himself cometh to the grave. It was a cave, and a stone lay upon it.
39 Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days.
40 Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?
41 Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me.
42 And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me.
43 And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth.
44 And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go.
24 मी तुम्हांला खरे तेच सांगतो: जो माझे ऐकतो आणि ज्याने मला पाठविले त्याच्यावर विश्वास ठेवतो त्याला अनंतकालचे जीवन मिळेल. त्याला दोषी ठरविले जाणार नाही. तर त्याने मरणातून निघून जीवनात प्रवेश केला आहे.
25 मी तुम्हांला खरे सांगतो. अशी महत्वाची वेळ येत आहे. ती वेळ जवळजवळ आलेलीच आहे. जे लोक पापामध्ये मृत आहेत ते देवाच्या पुत्राची वाणी ऐकतील आणि देवाच्या पुत्राकडून ऐकलेल्या गोष्टी जे लोक स्वीकारतील त्यांना अनंतकाळचे जीवन मिळेल.
26 खुद्द पित्यापासून देवापासून जीवनाचा लाभ होतो. म्हणून पित्याने पुत्रालाही जीवन देण्याची देणगी दिली आहे.
24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
25 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.
26 For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;
1 भूतकाळात देव आपल्या पूर्वजांशी संदेष्ट्यांच्या द्वारे पुष्कळ वेळा वेगवेगळ्या मार्गांनी बोलला.
2 पण या शेवटच्या दिवसांत तो आपल्याशी त्याच्या पुत्राद्वारे बोलला, त्याने पुत्राला सर्व गोष्टींचा वारस म्हणून नेमले. देवाने हे जगसुद्धा पुत्राकरवीच निर्माण केले.
1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things,
14 म्हणून मुले रक्त व मांस यांची बनलेली असल्याने त्यानेसुद्धा त्या रक्तात व मांसात त्यांच्यासमवेत भाग घेतला. येशूने हे यासाठी केले की, ज्याच्याकडे मरणाची सत्ता आहे, अशा सैतानाचा मरणाने नाश करावा.
15 आणि जे लोक त्यांच्या सर्व आयुष्यात मरणाचे भय मनात ठेवून त्याचे गुलाम असल्यासारखे जगत होते त्यांना मुक्त करावे.
14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;
15 And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

The chief stones in the temple of Christian Science are to be found in the following postulates: that Life is God, good, and not evil; that Soul is sinless, not to be found in the body; that Spirit is not, and cannot be, materialized; that Life is not subject to death; that the spiritual real man has no birth, no material life, and no death.
Science reveals the glorious possibilities of immortal man, forever unlimited by the mortal senses. The Christ-element in the Messiah made him the Way-shower, Truth and Life.
The eternal Truth destroys what mortals seem to have learned from error, and man's real existence as a child of God comes to light. Truth demonstrated is eternal life. Mortal man can never rise from the temporal débris of error, belief in sin, sickness, and death, until he learns that God is the only Life. The belief that life and sensation are in the body should be overcome by the understanding of what constitutes man as the image of God. Then Spirit will have overcome the flesh.

The fact that the Christ, or Truth, overcame and still overcomes death proves the "king of terrors" to be but a mortal belief, or error, which Truth destroys with the spiritual evidences of Life; and this shows that what appears to the senses to be death is but a mortal illusion, for to the real man and the real universe there is no death-process.

Do not believe in any supposed necessity for sin, disease, or death, knowing (as you ought to know) that God never requires obedience to a so-called material law, for no such law exists. The belief in sin and death is destroyed by the law of God, which is the law of Life instead of death, of harmony instead of discord, of Spirit instead of the flesh.

During the sensual ages, absolute Christian Science may not be achieved prior to the change called death, for we have not the power to demonstrate what we do not understand. But the human self must be evangelized. This task God demands us to accept lovingly to-day, and to abandon so fast as practical the material, and to work out the spiritual which determines the outward and actual.

The divine must overcome the human at every point. The Science Jesus taught and lived must triumph over all material beliefs about life, substance, and intelligence, and the multitudinous errors growing from such beliefs.
Love must triumph over hate. Truth and Life must seal the victory over error and death, before the thorns can be laid aside for a crown, the benediction follow, "Well done, good and faithful servant," and the supremacy of Spirit be demonstrated.

When being is understood, Life will be recognized as neither material nor finite, but as infinite, — as God, universal good; and the belief that life, or mind, was ever in a finite form, or good in evil, will be destroyed. Then it will be understood that Spirit never entered matter and was therefore never raised from matter. When advanced to spiritual being and the understanding of God, man can no longer commune with matter; neither can he return to it, any more than a tree can return to its seed. Neither will man seem to be corporeal, but he will be an individual consciousness, characterized by the divine Spirit as idea, not matter.
The sinless joy, — the perfect harmony and immortality of Life, possessing unlimited divine beauty and goodness without a single bodily pleasure or pain, — constitutes the only veritable, indestructible man, whose being is spiritual. This state of existence is scientific and intact, — a perfection discernible only by those who have the final understanding of Christ in divine Science. Death can never hasten this state of existence, for death must be overcome, not submitted to, before immortality appears.
